This kit comes with a fully enclosed airbox that protects the filter from dirt and keeps out engine heat, as well as a massive, highly-efficient air filter which results in better performance and protects your engine.  In extreme heat, high loads, or high altitudes S&B’s swing gate pivots when your truck accelerates to full throttle, opening the ram-air duct mounted behind the grille which releases cooler and less restrictive air to your engine. S&B's swing gate functions the same as the stock air box, only better. Unlike stock which uses only one inlet at a time, our kit gives you the option of massive dual inlet airflow. Simply remove the dam from the gate arm and re-attach it when desired or to protect against harsh weather. 

Available in either 8-layer Cotton Cleanable or Dry Extendable media.

Cleanable is great for people that are running their trucks in the city and highways and tend to stay off dusty roads. They last the longest and are cleanable with the S&B Cleaning Kit. If you tend to keep your truck on the pavement, this is the filter for you.

Dry Filters are meant for trucks that typically are used in dusty environments. Extend the life of the filter by blowing it out with compressed air. Dispose of the filter when you're done with it. If you tend to spend most of your time in the bush, working, and cruising logging roads this filter is for you.

• The game arm remains active even with the dam removed. This will prevent you from getting an Active Air Box code when both inlets are open.
