Fits

 The factory intake on the L5P Duramax engine is something that leaves power on the table. It is overall a choke point that is easily fixed. The L5P engine is a powerhouse right out of the box and seeing the factory intake that brings in less air than the truck demands can and will quickly become a problem.

This intake is a full metal assembly with a large heatshield that allows for use of the ram air hood scoop that comes factory on these trucks. HSP Diesel also uses a metal mandrel-bent intake tube that uses smooth bends to create a radius that reduces the turbulence and increases the flow into the engine. This means more air that flows faster through the intake and gives the engine and turbocharger the air it is demanding.

• This only Fits the 2017-2019 L5P engines even though the Vin code is the same. This is due to small changes that were made in the engine bay. Please be sure you are ordering for the correct year truck.
