The SPE Motorsport Oil Volume Solenoid Block Off allows you to install a 20+ engine into an older truck that does not have the wiring to control the new style oil pump volume solenoid. The 20+ 6.7 Powerstroke Oil pumps are volume on-demand and controlled by the PCM. This defaults to lower volume and oil pressure when it is not needed, helping with fuel economy by lessening drag on the engine.
The SPE Motorsport block-off defaults the volume to max and allows the pump to operate as the earlier model engines did. The volume and pressure are then solely RPM-based.
